I eat walnuts for the omega3's. I soak them first in water for four hours and rinse to help with digestion. Maybe that would work for you too.
Another thing you could try is chia seed. Start slow, but they have omega3's in them too.

Its not a full blown allergy but seems my system wants to 'rinse' it out. Better since I halted consumption.
Probably should just consume fish oil and as you indicated go back to Chia which is already known to be a-ok with my gut.
