I know there is a long thread regarding resistant starch in the past, but honestly I am too foggy at this moment to read, understand and implement it. This is the first time since my diagnosis, I have mental fog that use of brain power takes absolutely serious efforts.
I know there is no one type of resistant starch (RS), there are at least 2 to 3 types and the literature says never supplement with only one type of RS, as every type of starch 'works' only within certain region of GI track so ideally multiple types of RS and non-RS type fiber should be supplemented. Thus, you will feed all kind of good flora and selectively get rid of bad flora.
The goal of this post or the question I am asking here, if anyone played around with different types of RS alongwith non-RS fiber and figured out ideal blend of these for themselves. If yes, I would love to know that blend as a headstart to getting out of this flare and brain fog.
