Hi
I have been having investigations as to the reason my wbc is always low.
Apparently mesalazine can cause this. I always thought that this was topical and was realeased in the colon and as it travelled through the colon put a coating on it. I didn't think that it was absorbed that much.
I know mesalazine is used for arthritis. Is this a different preparation that is absorbed in the stomach?
I also take trazodone and this to can cause a low wbc.
If I can get to the bottom of why my wbc is low then I would maybe be able to have aza if I need it.
