8 Weeks, 5 days Past Remicade -- Felt The Burn

For those of you following along with my situation...

Late this afternoon I felt the strong burn of UC in my colon. It came and went within an hour, but was there undoubtedly. Otherwise I haven't had symptoms yet.

As far as the regular Remi pains, it's still too early to tell if they will go away I think. Hopefully the next 10-20 days reveals a lot about my current situation.

Hopefully sooner rather than later if you are feeling the beginnings of the pre-flare!

My GI docs want me to have a full 8 week "Clearing Out" of my system before they allow me to go on Humira. It looks to be a challenging time potentially. I am trying to just be at peace with it and accept whatever comes my way.

Hoping you find relief from your joint pain very soon! Hoping the UC doesn't kick in full force either. You're doing good by trying to accept whatever comes your way. I do my best to work on accepting the unpredictability of UC, and it has really helped me with the stress element of having UC.

So the joint pains are still there? Have they improved at all? Keep at it Thoreau, you can do this! Be kind to your gut, maybe sweet talk it a little...take it on a nice walk...;)
