Sorry to hear about the blood in stools. Could it be from a fissure or hemorrhoids?

As far as GIs are concerned -

-If you have cash to shell out, I would recommend Dr.Chutkan from the digestive center for women here. She approaches everything from a more holistic perspective.

-For conventional practice, my personal favorite is this group, and they do take most insurances. Try to see if you can get this doc. He's young, up to date, well versed in alternative modalities and very knowledgeable. Great person as well. Won't hesitate to try outside the box approaches.

I still do not know if mine is UC. I had 4 times well formed stools today with blood. 5th time it was just blood.

Thanks everyone for ur recommendations. I'm aware of pediatric GI in this area but had no clue about adult GI. praying god that it is hemorroids and not UC.
