Garlicky burp and breath, without garlic

I went into flare about 6 weeks ago. Since then I am using traditional meds, Sulfasalazine tablets and Hydrocortisone & Mesalamine enema. It is getting under controlled, but not yet completely. Blood has disappeared but urgency is still there.

Along with this, I started 2 capsules of Neem and DidaClear to get rid of any bad bugs in the gut. My theory is, bad guys got hold of the gut and led me to the flare. Keeping sense in this out, I am doing it. (Trying to do uBiome along with it, to prove/disprove my theory)

Since last 4 days, I am burping garlic. My breath also smells like garlic. I am not eating garlic so I have no idea where this thing is coming from or whats going on in my tummy. My farts do not smell like Hydrogen sulphide or rotten eggs. So something in the upper GI track only. I tried taking Psyllium seed powder and charcoal to mop it up, but didn't help.

Anyone experienced similar thing, or can guess what is going on?

Well the smell of garlic is from sulfur compounds.

Neem seems to contain sulfur compounds.

Don't know for sure but it is a possible.
