Bleeding after colonoscopy?

I had a colonscopy yesterday and I'm bleeding today. I've had colonoscopies in the past and I haven't bleed before. Has this ever happened to anyone? And if so for how long? Should I be freaked out?
I was bleeding before but not as much as now, and I bleed even if I don't pass stool. For example I pooped 3 times in the morning and two had blood, a little on the stool and the rest just went out after gas ... And same right now. No stool just gas and I passed blood and a few drops In the toilet. More of it when I wipe, any suggestions?

How long should I wait to see if it stops on its own?

It's not I've been through worse... Not going to remind myself >.>
Hopefully it resolves soon. I'm waiting for authorization from my GI doctor for Canasa since he said my rectum is inflamed and I can't hold in enemas. Wonder how long this will take.

It's actually fairly common to bleed after a colonoscopy especially when they take biopsies, I too bled some from the last one I had in August and I wasn't really bleeding much before that colonoscopy and they didn't even take any biopsies from the August scope. If the bleeding persists much longer or gets heavier then be sure to call your GI office and let them know, not worth risking to see if it goes away on it's own if it gets more severe or prolonged from here on out.

Bleeding is just normal after a colonoscopy but would be alarming if it lasts longer than a week. Better see your GI again if you experience similar problem for over a week.

Is it more blood or about the same since it started after the scope? If it's more then I would call your GI.
