No Entyvio today--6 feet of snow!

As for your question, I don't know the answer but I wanted to make you laugh.

Ugh! Glad I am just north of that snow band. Not even two inches on the ground once you get past south buffalo! I will never get used to lake effect snow. Our first year in buffalo we got 7 feet over two days and it was horrible!

Mom2--you are lucky. Forecast is calling for another 2 feet in the eastern suburbs. Thankfully, they have deployed the national guard to help dig is out.

I missed 3 days on my last infusion, and started to feel it . Hope you get out of the snow soon. In Texas it is just plain cold... Have not had snow in years.

Holy cow... what does a snowstorm like that look like?? Around here a BIG storm might be 18"... and almost always it's under a foot. We've had 3" and 1-2" within the last ten days.

I'm not familiar with Entyvio.. but from what I've heard it sort of builds up in your system to where it really starts to help after months (this could be mis-information, just what I heard). If that's the case, I'd be comfortable delaying a few days.

Sorry to briefly derail the thread, but what is your treatment looking like these days, Marauder? How have you been doing?

Marauder--thanks for the info. I won't be able to get my infusion until next week so hopefully it won't effect me too bad.

I'm hoping that you'll be ok. I'm over in the Finger Lakes area and we only have a dusting, but we rarely get lake effect here.

No worries! Im currently in a clinical trial for an anti-MAdCAM antibody. MAdCAM is the other interaction protein for the one that is blocked by Entyvio so it is basically Entyvio's sister drug.

I got on the full does (225 mg) on Sept 15th (so about 8 ish weeks ago). Was hovering between 11-13 BMs/day and am now at 7/8 which is basically where a full dose pred regime got me to back in June. Not sure if this is due to the drug or because I suddenly switched to eating nothing but eggs and chicken for the last 2 weeks though. Gonna give it another 2 months of "wait and see".

@xy123 - Itll be waay to early for a study like this I think. For now, it is just a logical hypothesis/deduction and its true you never know with medicine, but it is very much like imuran. You can go a few days without it and it wont affect you at all (besides maybe a placebo affect) due to its long half life and long mechanism of action.

I'm on a super limited diet right now due to cold and UC symptoms, so I know that feel. Just wanted to see how you were doing, knew you were on the trial and haven't seen you in any of the science threads lately, etc. Good to hear, hope you keep improving!
