Finding a good and honest GI in this day and age of pharmaceutical debauchery is rare. If you liked him, I imagine him to be not just a rare gem of a GI, but also a fantastic human being.
I like my current GI. Or, rather, 'liked', since after my surgery he has been seen less frequently than a blue moon. He spent a decent amount of time with you in the consulting room, wasn't a total robot, and answered questions reasonably
openly and honestly, instead of acting like the details of your disease was a state secret. Also, he was the only doctor who got me on Remicade.
Just wish I'd had him as my doctor several years earlier instead of the useless time-wasters I actually had.
@soystud - still owe you an email, chum... :-/
