Hemorrhoid or Lower Inflammation

I'm trying to figure out if I have a hemorrhoid or if it's lower inflammation. Are there any for sure signs of a hemorrhoid? I'd rather not pay the doc a bunch of money to look in there if I don't have too.

I have blood and mucous and it's actually kind of hard to push out poop. It feel's like something is kind of blocking or something?

Any info is appreciated

Hemmies don't produce mucous, so that is likely due to rectal inflammation.

Now that I really think about it, I'm not really sure I'm seeing mucous. I think its just blood...

Hello my hemmie friend! Welcome to the club! Take a look at my previous post titled 'haemorrhoids the size of golf balls"! Lol! I feel as though I am getting proper butt rumbles occasionally and I know it's my huge hemmies aggravating my butt as it's only there! Of its bright red blood on the tissue or streaks on your poop then could be hemmies. But lots of blood or mucus then it's more likely inflammation.

If your constipated that can also be a sign of inflammation.

holy crap ive had this issue day in and out itd so annoying to try to decifer, but when i had this issue and my doc looked up there he said no "active inflammation" and hemmies....

and its also a weird situation since putting meds up there day in and out could make it worse i dont know what to tell you i deal wiht this same issue day in and out... let me know if you decifer anything else?

For now I'm on hydrocortisone enemas for about 9 days. Still having symptoms so I don't think I have a hemmie. My GI said that a hemmie would not cause increased bowel movements. So in that case I think it's inflammation. I'm so tired of this flare!

My GI moved my simponi injections to 2 times a month. I'm also on 100mg of 6mp

Similar situation here, trying to get of a flare with 40mg pred
The frequency stopped, and urgency very low.
major bleeding has stopped EXCEPT one long streak of bright red blood on the poop - and of course excruciating craps while pooping. So I'm also guessing I'm still pretty inflamed in the very low part of the colon and possible hemorrhoid(s) which is/are leaving their bloody mark 1/2 way on the poop. Feels like poop passing through them keep opening the woods.
