OT - YUMM !

Sounds good soy. Hope you continue to tolerate it. Ugh, the small things we are thankful for. Just want to eat and poop like a normal person...could use a little holiday miracle. Enjoy the new treat!

Cranberry sauce is real easy to make yourself,boil them in water until they split open, and add sugar. That's it. Each fall, the DW and I pick cranberries from a local bog and make some jars of sauce. Low carbon footprint, local, wild grown with no pesticides lol. There's a bog near our house. We put on waterproof boots, paddle the kayaks out to the floating sphagnum moss mat, and pick cranberries. Bogs are a really cool place with carnivorous pitcher plants and sundues. Cranberries are best after the first hard frost, yum! We put chopped cranberries in muffins as well.

I like to add some spices. Sounds yummy. I am just too lazy to do anything lately :(

I have several comments (mostly non-useful, probably):

1. That sauce sounds pretty good!
2. There are cranberry bogs on the "better" side of WA state. ;)
3. I make a cranberry relish - cranberries, oranges (peel and all!), pecans, and sugar, all chopped up in the food processor. YUM.
4. I also make cranberry-orange bread. Even MORE yum.
5. I am ridiculously happy that we now have a Costco w/in an hour of our home, and one more set to open soon that's a big closer. My husband and I both took a day off of work last week on Friday to do Christmas shopping, and went to the new Costco for the first time. I refuse to admit how much we spent, but will say it was slightly embarrassing. Anyway, before the new store opened, the closest one was in Canada.
