Thanks for posting. I love medicalxpress.

I contemplated eating one around halloween time but a good look at the ingredients changed my mind.

Also 80% of non-organic apples in the US are sprayed with diphenylamine (DPA), which is a chemical other countries have banned.

I wouldn't eat most apples here in the states, let alone caramel apples.

I don't even know what they are...I'm guessing some kind of hard caramel coating on an apple lol!

I do eat apples but I always peel them first!

If you buy an apple in Kansas that says Product of San Salvador is that an American apple or an El Salvadorian apple?

I guess I'm basically saying I know bad pesticides or whatever get put on at the farms, but even if they don't at that foreign farm, are they still sprayed in the US warehouse with the pesticide that is banned elsewhere?
