Back and stomach pain from Predisone?

Hi, my son has been complaining of both back and stomach pain. Is this from the Predisone and if so, what could be take for the stomach pain? Thanks for the help.

The stomach pain might be acid reflux, which is pretty common on prednisone. Call his pediatrician to ask about remedies. Zantac comes to mind.

Back pain? that's a pretty general complaint. Anything more specific? Could be the reflux, could be the UC flare.
