Hey guys! So I'm currently on prednisone and 6mp for what seems to be never ending flare. Blood totally stopped few weeks ago with prednisone. Normal formed bm. Still slight urgency. This week though noticed drop of blood on tissue ignored it today and yesterday bright red blood on tissue as if someone colored it with a bright red marker. And it hurts down there. I never had a hemorrhoid but I'm convinced this is it. Do my assumptions make sence? Anything I can do to treat it? In some pain and don't like seeing this blood on paper

Yes it sounds exactly like a hemmie. witch hazel and cotton swab (or pay 10x as much and buy the pre soaked wipes), prep H etc will help you.

I don't know. I never had one. I'm just assuming it is one.

If it is external you can feel it and see it, it will be a hard lump or a lump of some type right at the anus and internal one you can't see or feel most times. Yes you can get all of this stuff at a drug store or grocery store even most corner store have this kind of thing. You can buy creams, suppostories and like I mentioned before which I find best is witch hazel and cotton swabs. You can also buy a sitz bath for just a couple of bucks and the salt. Don't let this get you down, something like 90% of all adults have a hemmie, people just either don't know (like you) or don't want to admit to it because, well its a hemmie.

Only one way to find out if you have a hemorrhoid, go see your primary care physician. He'll put on a rubber glove and check. Internal hemorrhoids aren't far in.

unless you are born with a hemmi, you've never had one till the ...... first one = the first one is always ........... the er ........... first smilewinkgrin
