This looks really interesting. Im sure its applicable to many autoimmune diseases, including UC.

The best part is that theoretically, there wouldnt really be any serious side effects

That's really exciting to see. I wonder if they mean that the ones with progressive MS weren't doing as well because the disease already caused a lot of damage, but it wasn't causing any more.

The resets may also be super helpful for studying what triggers autoimmune disease.

I can't find any information on if there is a reset failure rate. it would suck to have your immune system knocked down and then no reset.

there are some companies that want to use own stem cells for UC. still developmental.

there are private companies that do it now, but they might be more about profit. The research is mixed. Multistem failed, but that was allogenic not autologus.

I wonder if combined stem cell and massive probiotic treatment would have promise.
