Which drugs are expected to hit the market as treatment options for UC this year (if approved)? and which future drugs currently in trials are you guys most excited about? Appreciate your thoughts! Thanks

The latst in 2014 was Entyvio. Has that been on your radar?

Really looking forward to learning/hearing more about pipeline from Galapagos, VBLT, and RCPT, possibly the molecular truck guys too, but they are a half decade or two from getting FDA approval.

Given the strong profit margins, we are likely to see more biologics (or variations of the same drugs) in the next 5 or so years. Rebranding is a popular tactic the industry has used for some time.

Sorry to be such a downer, but it is the harsh reality. There are some promising therapies that address the microbial component but most of it is a long time away as fightUC said. People resort to taking matters into their own hands by this time (and who can blame them?)

check trials.gov for things in Phase III that started last year. They may come out late 2015 or early 2016.
