After trying to introduce more fruits/veg in to my diet (one at a time) and failing miserably with each one(diarrhea for a day or two) I finally gave up, stuck to the few veggies I can eat and eat mostly meats and white crappy flour things (breads, cake, etc) and found the guts would even tolerate other junky things like plain chips, occasional soda etc. no issues with these things. I recently decided that if I'm doomed to eating junk I should at least try some vitamins. I've previously tried just about
every single multivitamin out there and they all upset my guts and make me sick. So, I've been taking vitamin D for a few months now(Dr said I was super deficient) and that went off without any issue. I figured I'd try B next, since IBD sufferers tend to be low in B's and D's. Well, first day, no problem, second day huge poop, like, bowel emptying poop, I brushed it off as a one off. Next day THREE of these giant dumps(I don't usually poop large amounts, this was a big change for me) next day, same thing, next day cramping, mushy poo, bright yellow...stopped taking the B vitamins... Still pooping terribly, lots of gas/cramps.....aaaand now I'm on to diarrhea. Lovely. I try to do something good for my stupid failing body and this is what I get. Eating chips and drinking soda, no, that's fine. I'm convinced my body's trying to kill me. It's ok with me helping by eating junk, but trying to heal or nourish my body with fruit or vitamins? Hell NO, not on my watch
stupid ridiculous body. Oh, did I mention I'm going on vacation and flying soon?! Argh. Sorry, no real question here.... More of a rant.
