Blood.... No blood?

Uc or hemmroids?
I will have a bm normal stool that has streaks of blood, and blood on the tissue. Next bm a few hours later, no blood!
What's up with that? Then I'll go a while with solid stools without blood. And I'll have one that just surprises me.
Is this normal for uc or could it be a hemmroid?

If it is always your first bm of the day that has blood streaks, it is likely uc related bleeding. Blood from uc inflammation or ulcers can pool overnight while you sleep. It then comes out with your first bm, after which, things are clear without blood. It indicates a very small amount of blood from uc inflammation/ulcer.

My guess anyways. I think a hemmie would be more consistent in bleeding. If you're worried then see your primary care physician and he/she can put on a white glove and check for internal hemorrhoids. The are usually just a few inches from the anus. If you had an external hemorrhoid, you would know, as they poke out and have to be manually pushed back in.

Leokorry...what meds are you using at this time?

How many times a day do you go? and are they always solid?

Are you having any discomfort rectally when you go?

Hemmies and fissure can cause what you're experiencing, but if it's streaked along the stool with a first bm of the day, I'd say it's UC related as iPoop stated.
