Wine?

im new to all this but I can tell you if I drink anything hard the next day is hell. Wine I do fine on tho. Im sure everyone is different.

It does nothing to my UC, although I'm not a huge wine drinker, but for me I have problems with California red wines. I must be allergic to something in it, but I know several other people have problems with domestic wines too. Causes me to break out in a rash on my chest, my cheeks get super red. I have to stick with whites or buy the expensive crap. So if it's for a Valentine's thing be careful since it's your first time just in case you have the same problem as me and several other people I know. Also, red wine causes worse hangovers even after just 1 glass so watch yourself. :)

Thanks for the input guys. It is for a Valentines day dinner, I'm not so worried if I feel like crap the next day, I need a night out. I just don't want it to make me feel sick within a couple hours kinda thing. Might as well just give it a go!

My List from worse to better: Micro Beer - Domesitic Beer - Red Wine - White Wine - Hard Liquor mixed - Hard Liquor on the rocks is the best for me on my UC, the issue is I don't enjoy drinking 80 proof straight, I'm just not an alcoholic I guess. Drinking just stinks, prior to my UC days I loved micro beers and trying all sorts of new breweries, nowadays I can't ;(. Wine in moderation usually doesn't bother me for a night out though, I will typically start having issues if I drink on consecutive days regardless of what I drink.

i have a glass of red wine about once a week and no issues.

I feel better when I drink better quality alcohol, I think the cheaper stuff is filled with low quality ingredients that gives me the worst hang overs. I can't drink any Budweiser product without hating myself the next day. Cheap wine and vodka does the same thing to me.
