my wonderful son decided to share his cold with me - as usual, a minor cold gladly progresses to sinus eruptis in a matter of seconds -

i have used my neti girl in the past, but when i'm really constipated in there, it's not very effective - thought maybe the fire hose method might provide better results -

any thoughts ?

i am too old for this s**t :P

i use xylometazoline nasal spray like a drug addict (for short periods at a time), smell the breeze!

+ snuffle babe vapour rub (don't laugh)

Never used one of those but I traded my Neti pot in several years ago for a nielmed sinus rinse bottle. It works much better than the regular old Neti pot.

i use Simply Saline nasal mist - it's good for just getting some moisture in there - but i want something with some volume to flush the nasties out -

how does the neilmed work better for you than the neti ?

I find the NeilMed squeeze bottle system rinse thingie is awesome!

Never tried the above contraption.

try out the Otrivin nasal spray i think its OTC and should be cheap, when i get colds my sinuses lock up as if i don't even have a nose to begin with, it works very quickly and lasts for something like 12hours and its safe to use.
