Anyone sees Dr Lawrence J. Brandt in NYC?

There has been a few threads about him in the past.

I would just call his main office and ask where he preforms them and you want them to check your insurance coverage.

In 2013 I attended a guest lecture Dr. Brandt gave at a Manhattan medical center. He was then among a handful of U.S. physicians with a federal govt grant to perform FMT (at Montefiore) -- so it could be that the program he was participating in has concluded by now. I agree with the posts advising you to phone his office at Montefiore for further info. After that guest lecture I spoke to Dr. Brandt briefly; he was very affable. When I told him that there was a lot of interest in FMT among HW UC Forum members, he replied that UCers were welcome to phone his office about it-- so I got the impression that staff there could advise on additional contacts if he himself was not taking new patients. He seemed like a genuinely kind person & also showed a great sense of humor during his lecture, besides being very knowledgeable in his subspecialty. / Old Hat (34 yrs with left-sided UC; presently in remission taking brandname Colazal)
