Headaches/Dizzy with frequent bowel movements?

For the past week I've been dealing with headaches and dizziness that comes and goes with bowel movements. I had to delay my Entyvio infusion by nearly two weeks due to a fever, so I know my UC is restless. I just had my infusion today and hope it calms the beast. My BP is fine. My heart rate goes up when this happens, but I know it's partly due to the anxiety that accompanies this feeling if I'm in a public place. Usually I have constipation with UC. This time that's not the case. No blood or mucus, but I have several high volume movements in a row...usually over the course of a few hours in the morning. When this comes on, I start feeling weird...like I'm going to pass out. I have a migraine like headache all over my head with a stiff neck. I end up going a lot. After this passes, I shake all over for a bit. I don't go for the rest of the day, however. The shakes ease about 30 minutes after my last bowel movement. I still have remnants of the headache.

I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Does it seem to be due to a nutrient issue? Or some sort of chemical imbalance that happens when waste moves through your colon too fast? I take B Complex, Magnesium, Calcium, D3 & Folate. I can't imagine what I'm missing if it's a nutrient issue.

For those who like the additional information, I've been on Entyvio since October and take Asacol and Azathioprine with it. I'm using Canasa until things calm down. I also take a probiotic.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

During my first flare I went through a phase of having exactly what you describe during my violent morning BM (of course shortly after arriving at work). I would have to close my office door and wait until the effects passed. I had and still have no idea why it happened. I thought maybe I tensed up during the BM, tensed up along my shoulders, neck, etc. That was the only theory I could come up with. I was on no meds at the time (was before I was diagnosed even).

It could be the meds you're on, how long have you been on each of them? Humira caused me horrid headaches, not right away though, but it didn't take me long to figure out the connection to Humira especially when I started taking the shot weekly.

I get this. St always accompanied by frequent poops, like, every 15 minutes. I get shakey, sweaty, nausea- no headache though. It usually passes about 30 minutes after the last poop. I'm not sure which comes first, the quick poopin or the sick feeling confused

Maybe it's the loss of nutrients
Or dehydration
