We don't know everything the jury heard, just what the newspaper story said, which in my opinion was enough to find them both guilty and censure them (plural) and require sensitivity training if not suspend their license for a time (never happen because doctors don't do that to other doctors).
What concerns me even more than their words is the lack of respect for the human being they are doing the procedure on, plus lying about
what they found in the c-scope. We patients deserve respect whether conscious or unconscious.
I'm very sorry the worst doctor is a woman. I've read about
how brutal medical training is and how women have to prove how tough they are. Doctors need to retain their human and sensitive side too, it's important because we the patients are not lab rats. Talk about
sports or TV shows or which doctor is fooling around with who while operating/scoping. But treat your patients with respect.
I am pro-police cameras too. Let's remove the he-said-he-did aspect and let the video tell the story.
OT: my home state (Delaware) had the worst pedophile doctor ever found. His actions would have been discovered years earlier if a phone had been on somehow. He put the parent out of the room or took the children to another "playroom" to do his vile acts
that he recorded on video which is what convicted him.
