This has really gone off course and it will be locked if we see anymore political talk. I don't understand how republicans/democrats got involved in someone getting belittled during a scope :)

When I get a scope, they give me a hospital room and I leave my stuff in there. I've never heard of this 'having your stuff under the bed'. If i wanted to bring my phone, i would have to pretty much lie on it or hide it somewhere in the blankets - maybe under the pillow... I have to put all my stuff in a bag in the room they give me.

That's the same thing I always thought happened with my stuff until I asked at my last scope and they said they put it under the bed. I can see why the patient was surprised at what he recorded if he thought his stuff was in his little "room" that he had been in before the scope. He probably didn't realize it was going to record the scope -- he just turned it on so it would record what was said afterwards when he was back in his room/space/curtained cubicle -- whatever you want to call that prep area.

You are right, Gary ... I was referring to you. I really don't care what political viewpoint you have and I don't care if you bash conservatives too. The point is you made a disparaging blanket statement about a group of people that isn't true of everyone in that group.

I don't put words in Gary's mouth or anyone else's, I'm simply reiterating what he initially says, I don't change or manipulate his words.

You are not the first to call him for making disparaging remarks about something and then watch him backtrack by saying:
“The problem is you just care about this thread and this thread only while I am addressing the bigger picture and not directing my comments to these particular unprofessional idiots in this thread...
For the millionth time, I'm not even talking about this particular case.”

Notsosicklygirl is right....this did veer way of course. In all fairness though I can however see the connection between our broken butts and the political landscape.
