I'm going to post this here as well, as some have diagnosis flipping from UC to Crohn's.
Here is a site worth spending time reading:
thecrohnsinfection.org/presenter-blog/ - Some very interesting personal blogs and thoughts written by the microbiologists involved in researching MAP. They are also the presenters at the upcoming conference. Some interesting perspectives and very unique questions are raised by them.
And here are some triple antibiotic therapy patient stories:
thecrohnsinfection.org/patient-stories/On a personal note - I identify with the last patient post... Specifically what it's like to finally go a whole day with only one poop... the effect it has on you is pretty profound. Today happened to be one of those days.

Prednisone Without the Side Effects - For Ulcerative Colitis ?.There is a drug one of the presenters speak of that he refers to as Prednisone without the side effects. I cannot help but wonder if this or a modified version of this would be instrumental in Ulcerative Colitis. It was formerly called HE2000.
EDIT: It turns out is is... It's called Triolex (HE3286) and is in Phase 2 trials for Ulcerative Colitis. Maybe some on here have heard of it???
Anyways, the above site gives some background perspective into this drug.
