Wierd Symptoms...

A couple of days ago I got a burning sensation in my hand and when I touched it, its felt like the skin was going to peel off, and then it slowly started to work its way through out my whole body. Now it feels like I am being poked by pins and needles all throughout my body, especially my joints, and my muscles feel very stiff as well. I have also been feeling a lot of pressure in my chest, and my vision goes in and out of being blurry. I went to the ER last night, but they couldn't find anything wrong with me and sent me home. They did an EKG, Chest X-Ray, lab work and urinalysis. I have never had anything like this happen before, and it came on out of nowhere. I'm not sure if this could be part of the Colitis? I called my doctor this morning and haven't heard anything back yet. Does anyone have any ideas? This is day 3 of having these symptoms and im getting desperate for answers.

I am not on any medications at the moment, I am suppose to start Remicade soon (if my insurance ever gets around to giving me approval) I haven't been on steroid for a couple of years. Circulation could be a good possibility!

I haven't done anything different, food, medication, or anything else that I can think of. I'm taking Multivitamins, prenatals, and Biotin as well. They did a CBC at the hospital last night

Pins and needles are the first signs of vitamin B deficiency...I had it in my fingers, told my GP, he checked my vitamin B and it was too low, he started me with B12 injections then weaned me onto B12, 1200 mcg, timed released pills and since then (back in the late 90's) no problems.

Lack of sufficient B12 causes nerve damage which can be permanent if ignored, not worth it.

I would not advise taking large doses of a vitamin or mineral based on symptoms. Too much of certain vitamins or minerals can cause health issues.
I would have your doctor check your b12 levels to be sure that it's pernicious anemia. If it is something else than taking b12 won't help and the cause of the issue will go untreated for longer.
That being said b12 or other b range deficiencies are quite common in ibd patients.
Eating animal products can help ( vegans usually have insufficient b12)
