VSL3 enema

This for my son who has SIBO and severe constipation (do not confuse for my daughter who is currently in remission after FMT and has colitis). last few times when we tried different probiotic brands orally for him his bloating and burping increased. I want to try VSl3 through enema method. Has anyone tried it and is it safe to to just mix VSL3 in distilled water and push it from bottom through an enema bottle?


I'm bit hesitant to give probiotic orally because of his SIBO but at the same time want to try different probiotic to see if it can solve his constipation issue.

Have you ever tried an aloe vera enema? I use George's aloe vera water. I know you said that you already tried aloe vera orally but nothing like getting right to the source.

never done a VSL enema. I have such a hard time keeping enemas in that I would hate to waste my precious VSL.

I would definitely ok it with his GI first but I do aloe vera enemas all the time. It definitely gets things moving and I feel like it helps sooth the inflammation. (You know....aloe vera soothes burns. Why not my messed up colon?) I do one before I do rectal meds to clean everything out.
