I don't know if its a good thing to be able to view your blood test results on-line or not. Earlier this year when I first went to the GI for problems with diarrhea he did a CBC and some stool tests. The CBC was all within range and the stool tests (C-diff, parasites, etc) were all negative. A colonoscopy again revealed inflammation (as it did in 2011). I was put on Lialda 4 pills a day and Florastor 2 pills. I'm not having diarrhea anymore but don't have any formed bowel movements either. My bm's are not excessive, I go once a day for the most part.
I recently had another CBC done recently, about six months after the first. All test items were still in range but I couldn't help notice a dip in some of the numbers. WBC went from 9.7 to 8.3. Neutraphils 6900 to 5400, lymphocytes 1750 to 1680.
I haven't called or heard from the DR. Just thinking he might glance at the report, see nothing out of range, and put the report in my folder.
Am I being overly paranoid? is a fluctuation in these numbers normal?
