Am I missing something? FMT question.

OK so a simple google search on Dr. T.J. Borody and fecal transplants will bring up articles where this doctor claims a greater than 90% extended remission rate for his patients with UC who undergo FMT following his specific protocol. He's based out of Australia I believe. Why isn't this the first line treatment for UC? Is there something I don't understand?

Yeah. Barody has cooked the books to make it look a lot more successful than it really is. Any time one particular person claims to have a "protocol" that works for just about everyone then you should know it is BS. It probably works for 10%, not 90%. Anytime I see the word protocol used I pretty much ignore whatever it is they're talking about.
