Worried about flare up

Hi guys
I've been on the site to look many times before but this is my first post. So anyway I was wondering if this would be an indicator of another flare, on the occasion(i'd say twice in the past two weeks) I have had light blood on the toilet paper, this most recent time had a bit of bloody mucous(gross I know). All of my bms have been normal otherwise, no urgency, no more frequency than the usual and solid poops. I have been off pred for awhile and almost had another flare but caught it with meslamine enemas. Right now taking meslamine pills to try to keep myself in remission. However I was thinking this blood and such could be due to stress? I'm starting back at college and its been weighing heavily on me along with a few other things and that's when it the blood started, plus I have been a bit constipated maybe I have just been straining myself? I'm really hoping that is it and things will go back to normal when I get back into the groove of things. Anyone had any similar experiences or have some thoughts to share? I am all ears.

Sounds like a flare starting to me if you are going through increased stress and starting to see bloody mucus. I would make sure you are taking 4.8 grams per day of oral mesalamine and start daily enemas until it is totally under control and then taper back but never completely off of either.
