This is a tough one, I could go either way. My gut feeling is just kick the can down the road, as that would likely be my action in this situation. As you're showing signs of improvement, so I'd give it another month or two and see if your improvement continues and that improvement is infact sustained. Should you worsten, or should you hit a ceiling of symptoms that you want to break through, then I'd say go for the flex-sig asap.
I'm sure your gastroenterologist would like to have the scope for completeness, it might make a nice report and tie all loose ends up, and also double check for the unexpected. However, your current symptoms and improvement are a darn good indication that you're headed in the right direction, so why mess with that? As a scope always makes me bleed right afterwards, usually into the next day, and can upset my system. If I get a scope it's due to a clear need, like a dramatic worsening of symptoms; not after signs of improvement.
