I have been on Entocort since August and the bleeding/mucous continues. For one week by GI prescribed Cortifoam but it made me extremely ill. (i.e. I couldn't stop crying/couldn't relax/couldn't sleep and actually went into a rage over everything). For a foam that isn't supposed to release much steroid into the system, it was horrible! I was a crazy person.

So Cortifoam didn't work and my GI told me to stop that and continue with the 9mg of Entocort. If Entocort doesn't stop the mucous/bleeding by December (next GI appointment), what is he going to try me on next?

I'm tired all the time, my BP is fairly low 109/70 approx. and it hasn't recovered since I was on Salofalk. My BP readings make me feel weak and faint.

What other drugs are you on for maintenance? Entocort isn't a long term med. It's also not the best med for UC because the medicine releases before it hits the colon. A better med for UC is Uceris which is very similar but doesn't dissolve until it reaches the colon. But even that isn't a long term med and should just be used as a bridge until other meds kick in.

What meds are you on aside from entecort? You need to post a signature so we can see what you are doing.
Entecort is dumb for uc because generally it releases too high up to be of much aid which may be why it's not working.
Uceris is the same drug but has a different coating so it's released later like in the colon as opposed to small intestine.
I question the competence of a GI who prescribed that for UC.
If you are only taking entecort than you will not get better. Steroids reduce the inflamation but as soon as you stop you will flare again. They are used as a bridge to help your inflamation go down until your meds work.
I don't know what you have tried but the first step is to take max oral mesalamines and possibly rectal. If that is not enough than add immune suppressant meds like imuran. If they didn't work than biologics like remicade.

I take endocort and it has been very effective. It is used for UC. It wasn't helpful and was very confusing to get conflicted info. My GI is competent. Don't get too caught up in the on line doctors. There is a lot of good advice and help here. I hope you're also on other MEDS? Call your GI and tell her or him it isn't working. You my have adrenal involve ment with low blood pressure. Don't wait for December.
