OT - quick question if anyone knows

I don't see this to be a problem, but I'm going in for surgery soon to have an alternative tear duct drain put in from a fully blocked tear duct. They are using general anesthesia with a possible ventilator. Do you think the anesthesiologist will have an issue with my fractured rib since it doesn't interfere with my breathing?

I wouldn't think so either but be sure to mention it. Better for him/her to be aware of it.

I would not believe it would cause trouble, as you breath normally. If it were me, I'd call the facility doing the procedure and mention your injury. Have them ask the anesthesiologist.

Thanks :) Yeah I probably should tell him or her. But the surgery wont happen for a few weeks anyway because I want to wait until after my trip to Texas to see my daughter to have it done. So that should give my rib more time to heal.
