For years now I have not been able to figure out a way of softening up the first few inches of feces without taking Mag-cit or some kind of stool softener before bed to keep the stool from becoming so hard over night that it will cause a blockage in the morning. It seems fats of any kind contribute to this, and naturally salt, also peas beans, nuts, seeds and other high fiber foods. Tried everything under the sun over the years get a system going to help with this. If I let the front end of the BM become at all hard mucus will also accompany it. This even goes on when I'm in remission and have had blood tests that show no inflamation in my system Eosinophils, CRP, and so on. Frustrating at the very least, restrictive as all get go in terms of what I can eat, and I'm tied to stool softeners that mess with my weight control...Any similar experiences with this?
