Congratulations! I think the particular bacterial strain has turned the tides. I think it is digestive in the sense of bacteria's relationship with food and other inflammatory factors like stress and lack of sleep and also certain yeast and pathogens etc. I think remissions can be strengthened by strengthening the walls of the intestine and fixing dysbiosis via broth, colostrum, probiotics etc. The Brigg's protocol gives interesting details.

Culturelle was one of my favorite supplements 2-3 years ago. The Lactobacillus GG bacteria strain it contains is well researched and really seemed to work. Then all of a sudden it stopped working. No surprise there, how many of us have found something to be initially successful and then all of a sudden stop working.

But 2-3 years ago Culturelle was relatively clean with few or no additives. Since then the formula has changed to include MALTODEXTRIN, along with some other junk. You don't have to look very far to see the kind of havoc maltodextrin can play in our digestive systems.
