Lialda and Menstruation

Hey everyone

I was diagnosed UP a few months ago and my doctor has me on Lialda. Three pills a day. Does anyone have problems with their menstruation? A couple months I have been late getting it and other times the period is super heavy. I bloat up really bad, get tired, get cravings, all like im about to get my period, but havent gotten it yet and im on week two of feeling like this this month. I am not pregnant. I am curious if the Lialda could be causing this?

Lialda doesn't seem to impact my cycle, but UC does for sure. I get far more bloated now when I ovulate and my periods are more painful. If you have lost weight, that could also impact your cycles.

UC drugs mess with my period. No matter where I am in my cycle (and I'm on the birth control pill), I get my period the same day I up my dose of Imuran. My doctor insists that one has nothing to do with the other, but it's happened three times now.

The Lialda doesn't affect my periods but all women can have increased GI symptoms at that time.
