meds not working what next

hello ive been flaring since march, lialda predinsone rowassa enimas were working, every thing felt and looked normal, then in june had my colonoscopy after that, flares came back and i cannot get remission, tried apriso, up til last week asacol hd, when i took 6 pills per day i had 20 bloody painful bm's, so backed down to 3, seemed manageable, steriod enima at bed, last week started low residue loe fiber diet. and started UCERIS 9MM still taking enima at bed,, now 3 to 5 bm's just blood no mucus, discomfort ( falses as their called) seems the family of lialda type drugs and steriods are nolonger working, were do i go from here meds? thanks Dennis

I'm not sure if I understood but you said you reduced asipraso and you had improvement is it possible you are having a reaction to the mesalamine. It can cause flare like symptoms.

If not immunomodulators or biologics are next. If you are doing very badly and the prednisone doesn't help than I would go straight to something like remicade as it may help really quickly whereas immunomodulators may not.
