Medicare-colonoscopy coverage

Just checking to see if anyone has had any problems with Medicare covering a colonoscopy every year after turning 65. I have had UC for 51 years and my GI wants me on an annual colonoscopy schedule. My last colonoscopy was August 2014. Thanks for any input.

Current Meds Lialda 4 tabs / day and rowasa every night.

I read Medicare only covers every 2 years for high risk patients (thats you). I think you would have a problem with 1 year.

Also, if they biopsy or remove a pylop, the coverage is lower.
