Food has never really been a trigger for a flare for me. If I'm in a flare pretty much any food aggravates things. Not in a flare, there is no food that causes a flare. Some foods - mostly high-fiber foods - cause me an excessive amount of gas and maybe looser stool. Carbonated drinks cause me gas. A few other things. I think everybody is different. For me sometimes sugary foods make me feel better (more formed stool). But I know that is very unusual and I'm lucky there. You have to figure out over time what upsets you and what is ok to eat. I find it easier to do that when not in a flare.
