still happening on the desktop...thought they were going to finito as of January 1???
They slow stuff down, actually.

Long term those video ads are self-defeating. As people become more frustrated they will turn to ad blockers and that will hurt revenue.

That's what I did. My internet simply couldn't keep up with the video ads. Per NCOT's advice, though, I do click on an ad here and there because I don't want to hurt this site.

Yes, they're still there. Removing them wasn't as easy as I thought. I'm working with our ad reps who are looking into it.

I've asked that they remove the video ads starting January 1st. Hopefully that will resolve some issues.
