Humira injection question

I've only ever seen the medication drip on to me before injecting which is normal and doesn't have any negative effect.

Are you pinching the skin the entire time while injecting? That's what you're suppose to do so if you're not then that might be why you're seeing a small amount of medication on your skin.

Chrissy, make sure you always hold the skin tight even if it starts to hurt, my nurse directed me to do this to avoid hitting any arteries or something that shouldn't be hit by the needle.

Most of the time mine will sting, even though I always make sure to let it get to room temperature (no more then half an hour and that's in the winter lol). When it doesn't hurt I'm always worried the needle didn't release like it was suppose to but when I see the tiny little mark left behind (sometimes it'll bleed and sometimes not) then I know the needle penetrated. Ice the area before your alcohol rub it and always make sure you let the alcohol dry before you inject as that may contribute to stinging/pain from the shot.

Chances are you got the majority of it all in.

i just did my simponi shot tonight and i had a little bubble of serum come out. this always happens though. it burns every time i do it so i can feel it going in. i dont worry if a little bit pops out.
