Ok... this feeling officially woken me up. Now I can't sleep (I did eat cheese before sleep, this might have caused it, I am not sure). Which sucks because tomorrow is my first day at work.

Doctors dispense RX meds based on what they see in a c-scope and in my experience don't rely on what we, the patient, say our symptoms are. Probably because it is such a difficult disease to treat but more likely they are trained to treat what they see and biopsy. I felt my first couple GI's were heartless when I cried about how bad my symptoms were and they did not respond.
It made me realize the limitations of what a GI can do for me as far as symptomatic relief. That, I found, is up to me. Mainly because I am not an easy patient who responds to RX meds, only mesalamine enemas help my symptoms.
I suggest you do some research into IBS as well as googling nausea after eating. Try some OTC supplements or diet modification (certain foods causing it?), see if it helps. No doctor can be as good a detective as you can be. No one cares as much as you do.
Ask your GI about switching to 6mp (similar to Imuran) and see if that is better for you.
A long shot is that the nausea is not related to UC or RX meds, but is something else gastro-related. Stomach ulcer maybe?
Good luck.
I don't have nausea after eating. It's a feeling between pain and nausea. I am not really sure, but I think eating calms it down.
