Uceris and prednisone

Dear all, after a week of Uceris, I was still having multiple painful, watery bms with mucous & bloating. The gastro's put me on 40mg prednisone to be tapered each week. This was my first night after prednisone. The morning has been terrible. 3BMs that were painful, watery etc. I am also continuing Uceris (he didn't tell me to stop)
Is this a one-off, or am I reacting to the preds or something else?

You're flaring badly and that's the reason for your symptoms. I'd give the steroids more time to work as one day of prednisone isn't going to show miraculous results.

Thanks John. I was fine all day after preds+uceris and then at 3:00am this morning all hell broke loose. Just panic and depression.
