Enema causing diarrhea?

Hi,
Another beginner question.

I have noticed that on night I use my enema (salofalk) the following morning my first bm of the day is usually diarrhea. I usually have one or two more that are most solid but still soft.

Could the enema be causing the d?

On nights I use my supp, my first bm is usually a bit more solid, but not always.

Is it all coincidence?

It's possible that not all of the enema fluid is absorbed making for a looser bm. I'd see that myself.

Do you have a known sulfate allergy? I ask because all of the mesalamine enemas have sulfa in then (except the sulfate-free sfRowasa).

How long have you been on the enema, what were your symptoms before you started them, and are younusing them nightly?

Sounds normal, they are NOT completely absorbed by the way.
