Salofalk Foam - dosage confusion

Hi, I hope someone who has used Salofalk foam might be able to help. Myself and the pharmacist are a bit confused by instructions from GI but want to start this tonight.
I have been prescribed 1g of Salofalk to use only at night. The box contains 14 nozzles and 1 can, which according to the instructions contains 14 spray actuation equivalent to 7 doses. The can contains 80 grams of foam.
The instructions say to push down once and slowly release. For second spray push down and release slowly and wait 10-15 seconds before withdrawing.
The GI wrote the prescription for 4/52 weeks so therefore I have 2 boxes with 2 cans and 28 nozzles.
Question is, if I follow the instructions inside the box and do 2 releases, am I going to run out in 2 weeks? Or should I be ignoring the typed instructions and push down only once?
I think there are so many nozzles because if you cant hold it in you can do half in morning and half at night ... so confused

haha, those things are confusing. I find that the more empty the can, the more you have to pump it to get to the line. I'd bet the average number of times i'd have to pump it to fill it to the line was probably about 4 or 5 -almost empty can can be many more pumps. They always only gave me one nozzle and i'd rinse it after use, yuck I know. The nozzle was this ridgid plastic too, very rough on a sore anus. Thankful i don't have to put anything in my butt anymore.

There is more in the can than you would think, but they are expensive, and never last long enough regardless.

Congrats on holding the medication until morning. Yeah, all foams and enemas give you a strong urge to evacuate after administration. Ignoring that sensation is hard at first, it does subsidie fairly quickly so just ignore it, and it will get easier with practice.
