Cipro for kidney infection reducing blood?

Hi all,
Long story short, after an ER visit and a cat scan this week I was diagnosed with a kidney infection, I believe from a UTI that went undetected (mild symptoms and I've never had one so I didn't know).

I've been on cipro for 2 days and while I am having d as a result, I've noticed last night and today there is no blood in my BMs. I searched the forum but everything was from 2010. Has anyone achieved remission by using cipro? I'm taking florastor with it (my pharmacist said it was fine to take at the same time).

Would someone who was going to have a negative effect from abx know right away? I guess regardless I need to finish this course bc apparently the inflammation was pretty bad. I'm not sure if it's the infection or the cipro causing my continued exhaustion.
