Humira Pen Misfire?

I have been getting horrible rashes at the injection sight on my upper thighs - and it hurts a lot going in (the burn). So last night I did stomach, which I haven't done since my intro training 4 months ago. I was freaking out so I messed it up. Usually I wait the full ten seconds and I hear the noise and feel the burn. This time I felt almost nothing and I heard nothing. But I was crying, so I'm sure I was just distracted. It fired. The yellow market was there. But I'm sure I pulled it out after 6 seconds, but before ten. I just am not sure. There's no mark this morning and there was literally no burn. I'm suspicious. Yes, it fired and the yellow marker is there.

I'm just worried that I didn't get allot the medicine (or none of it????). I don't want a flare but I'm afraid to do another pen in case it actually went in.

Also, I've had similar experience with not feeling like it injected due to no pain (but have always heard the click) so there are times when it won't cause pain....a tip for that burning though is to let your pen warm to room temp after getting it out of the fridge (max 30 minutes is what Humira, and nurse has told me) the coldness of the med is generally was causes the burning pain...the pain I was referring to in the first line of my reply is the needle going in, sometimes I get lucky and no pain with the needle going in and sometimes it hurts...I always inject on the top of my thigh, it hurts way too much in my belly and won't do that area again.

The best news is they are working on an oral form so we no longer need to do needles!!!!
