Not too sure if I have malabsorption. Lately I have floating stools. Their not pale or greasy looking. Not losing weight. Do the stools have to be pale in color to have this?

Stools can float based on what you've eaten. I get floaty stools after eating fatty foods. What color is it exactly? Slight tans, grays, or greens are fine.

Their color is the usual brown in color. I've been having these type of stools everyday. No sinkers. I've been trying to add more fiber to my diet. Last week I was eating Chex Mix and after eating a lot of them I noticed they have maltodextrin in these snacks. This past month maybe I'm eating too many foods that contain this. Now I'm watching what I'm eating. They say this chemical or whatever it is can cause diarrhea.
