do I take colazol before colonoscopy

Hi everyone, haven't been around in a while, doing quite well, but I have a colonoscopy scheduled for tomorrow morning. Have been fasting all day and just started the miralax drink. Anyway was wondering if anyone knows if it is okay to take my 3 balsalazide tomorrow morning as scheduled? I didn't ask doctor about this and now they are closed for the day.

Pretty sure you can't since you can't drink the morning of the colonoscopy for x number of hours prior. I never take any meds the morning of the colonoscopy. I just take them as soon as I get home.

I was also told not to take any of my medication on the morning of the colonoscopy, they said to take them straight after.

Take the colazol the day/night before you start the prep.....no matter if you don't use it the day of the prep. Start it again after the scope.

Other meds that are released in the stomach you should take the day of and night of the prep such as high blood pressure med, etc and the morning of if thats your absolute regular time if its ok to take it without food and a small amount of water. Otherwise, wait till after the scope.
