That stinks, certainly flares can change our body's appearance (rapid weight loss, gain, and other physical changes). It's going to take time, responsible eating, and excercise to undue the way prednisone redistributed fat within our bodies. Prednisone, like our body's natural stress hormone cortisol hormone, wants to increase our available blood sugar for fight or flight by turning fat and muscle tissue into available sugars. Those sugars then turn back into fat around the torso when unused. It can settle on the midriff or shoulders/neck, and leave our limbs thin. It sucks, sorry you got to deal with this. Be patient, persistent and I'm sure it'll come off in a series of months.
